New Contributions into Museum Funds
- A few contributions were made in the Museum funds in June, 2003.
- UNV veteran Vladimir Yulin contributed UN Flag of UNTAC, photo of Mr.Akashi's visit and the Commemorative Medal of the veteran of Russian Diplomatic Service;
- Colonel Sergey Shashkov contributed the book "United Nations Stress Management Booklet" and copies of Security Situation Report. UNMIBH. Period from 26 August - 01 September 2002;
- Young peacemaker Sofia Velichko (Secondary School # 1016) contributed her hand made doll "Girl-peacemaker".

National Day of Russia in Sierra-Leone
- According to tradition the UN peacekeepers celebrate their national day all together irrespectively of the distance which separates them in the mission area.

Names of Police Officers in the Gallery of Honor of the Museum
- 254 new entries were put recently in the Gallery of Honor of the Museum. These were the names of Russian civil police officers awarded with the medal of the United Nations "In the Service of Peace".
And now to find out the names of Russian civpols one has to click on the line "List of Russian UN Civil Police Officers awarded with UN Medal "In the Service of Peace" in 1992–2003" in the Gallery of Honour of the Museum.

UN Blue Scarfs as Awards to Children
- According to the regulations adopted by the Council of veterans of the Museum the young peacemakers of Russia may be awarded for their activities with the scarfs of UN peacekeepers. The first ceremony of awarding Russian young peacemakers Stas Razvodovsky and Antonyants Gayane took place May 29 at the ceremonial meeting on the occasion of the International Day of UN Peacekeepers.

The International Day of UN Peacekeepers in Moscow
- Over 140 persons came to mark the International Day of UN Peacekeepers at the Moscow House of NGOs (Moscow, Mosfilmovskaya Street, 40) May 29, 2003. Among the participants there were representatives of the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defence, Federal Boundary Service, Russian UN Association, veterans of WW-2, UN peacekeepers of Russia and Germany as well as school teachers and young peacemakers.

The Memorial Badge "55-years of UNTSO"
- The special memorial badge was made by Russian company "Dialogue-Conversion" at the request of the Museum to commemorate the 55-th anniversary of UNTSO. The badge will be distributed among Russian WW-2 veterans and UN peacekeepers to come to the ceremonial meeting to take place at Moscow house of NGOs (Moscow, Mosfilmovskaya Street, 40) on the occasion of the International Day of UN Peacekeepers May 29, 2003.

The Council elected 7 co-chairmen
- The plenary session of the Council of Moscow children NGOs which took place May 15, 2003 has discussed 3 issues. Namely: the results of the activities of the Council from Dec. 2002 through May 2003; Draft plan of the activities for the second half of 2003 and election of the co-chairmen.
The session has elected 7 co-chairmen (6 chairmen and 1 chairwoman), representing different children NGOs such as scouts, pioneers, young peacemakers and others. For the details see the report in "Voice of Peacemakers" # 96.

Plenary Session of the Council of Moscow Children NGOs
- Representatives of 52 children NGOs took part in the plenary session of the Council of children NGOs organized in Moscow. Established December 10, 2002 the Council have successfully completed a few projects such as "Camp of Friendship", "Day of the Contry Defender", "Mission of Friendship in the Ukraine" and "Day of Cosmonauts".
The plenary session will continue its work May 15, 2003 to discuss plans for summer.

Russian Veteran Meets Young Correspondents
- Over two hours there was continued the interview given by UN peacekeeper Lieutenant-Colonel Sergey Shpak to young correspondents.
The meeting of Russian peacekeeping veteran with 30 children took place April 16, 2003 at the "Moscovia" Sporting and Training Camp where representatives of Moscow youth and children NGOs came to have training in mass media professions.
